Moxivet Plus was formulated by avian veterinarians for the control of internal and external parasites: Air Sac mites (Sternostoma), Scaly Face/Leg mites (Knemidocoptes), Feather mites (Dermanyssus gallinae), Ticks, Roundworm (Ascarids), Pinworm (Heterakis), Hairworm (Capillaria), Gizzard worm (Acuaria) & Tapeworm (Cestodes).

This product can be used as a flock treatment or individual dose and is safe for use on a wide range of birds including parrots and pigeons.

Moxivet Plus was formulated by avian veterinarians for the control of internal and external parasites: Air Sac mites (Sternostoma), Scaly Face/Leg mites (Knemidocoptes), Feather mites (Dermanyssus gallinae), Ticks, Roundworm (Ascarids), Pinworm (Heterakis), Hairworm (Capillaria), Gizzard worm (Acuaria) & Tapeworm (Cestodes).

This product can be used as a flock treatment or individual dose and is safe for use on a wide range of birds including parrots and pigeons.

Dilute MoxiVet Plus with clean drinking water at the appropriate dose rate and supply medicated water for a 24-hour period.

Repeat treatment once every 3 months. For best results, treat all aviary birds simultaneously.

Species Volume of MoxiVet Plus/L of drinking water

Hookbills (parrots): 10mL (10 CC’s)/L (38 CC’s /US gal. )

Pigeons: 5mL (5 CC’s) /L (19 CC’s / US gal.)

Small Passerines (finches & soft bills): 2mL (2 CC’s)/L (8CC’s/US gal.)

Individual dose rate for pigeons: 0.25mL (0.25 CC’s) undiluted Moxivet Plus liquid/500g bodyweight.

Use as the sole source of drinking water during treatment. Avoid medicating in very hot weather and keep medicated water out of direct sunlight.

DO NOT use with unfeatherd chicks in the nest.

Withholding Period: Not for use in food producing animals

Water soluble bird wormer for use in water, or given directly to the bird via crop needle. Effectively kills all intestinal worms including Thread Worm (Capillaria spp.) Tapeworm (Raillietina spp, Choanotaenia spp.), Roundworm (Ascaridia spp.), Caecal Worm (Heterakis gallinarum), Hook Worm (Acuaria spp.) in caged and aviary birds and pigeons. Completely safe and can be mixed with a small amount of orange juice for fussy drinkers. Recommended for use as an all wormer in birds. Wormout Gel should not be mixed with other treatments or supplements.
