Spirulina is an edible, dried, microscopic, freshwater blue-green algae Phytoplankton that contains up to 70% protein, 26 times the calcium in milk, and far more nutritious than any known food. Spirulina is a rich source of phosphorus, niacin, vitamin b-12, beta carotene, iron, and essential fatty acids. Spirulina has been shown to dramatically increase fertility in birds, stimulate breeding, produce brighter plumage, raise resistance to disease, increase intestinal tract flora, and promote overall good health.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:- FEED TO YOUNG AND ADULT BIRDS DAILY YEAR ROUND. SPRINKLE SPIRULINA ON FRUITS, VEGETABLES, SOAKED SEED OR SOFTFOOD OFFER AS A FREE CHOICE IN A TREAT UP AT THE RATE OF 1% OR LESS OF THE BIRD'S TOTAL DIET. CAN BE BAKED IN BREAD PRODUCTS.

| DESCRIPTION- Symptoms of calcium deficiency include: Dystocia/Egg Binding, soft or thin shelled eggs, flight issues, lack of coordination during flight, legs spread further apart, leg weakness, seizures, drooping wings and biting/aggression. Calcivet has been formulated to supplement the diet of birds where calcium and Vitamin D3 may be low. It will also support breeding birds and their young with essential calcium. Vitamin D3 maximises calcium absorption in the gut. Calcium supports shell formation and the normal development of bones in young birds.
