May slightly differ in appearance but our bird corn are always tested according to BRC standard quality. Our supplier performs stringent quality tests both at the country of origin and again before they enter the warehouse using an independent laboratory to ensure they are the top grade that is expected. This grade is close to human grade standards with an aflatoxin level of 2 parts per billion.

Pusa Basmati 1509 is the first early maturing Basmati rice variety with seed to seed maturity of only 120 days and average yield of 4.25 to 6.5 tonne/ hectare . Pusa Basmati 1509 is a semi-dwarf (95-100 cm).Basmati rice variety with sturdy stem and plant height ranging from 95 - 100 cm. It takes115-120 days for seed to seed maturity, the shortest duration for any Basmati rice variety released so far. Pusa Basmati 1509 can help saving upto 5-6 irrigations (about 33% saving of irrigation water) Seed treatment is necessary before sowing Two ways of seeds treatment – 1. Organic 2. Chemical based treatment 1.Organic treatment – Wash seeds with water. Make slurry of cow dung and cow urine .Mix seeds in slurry and rub seeds with hands just to coat them with thin slurry layer. Make a cloth pouch or bag and place coated seeds in it and tie it properly.Maintain moisture of bag by sprinking water on it when required . When seeds got germinated ,they are ready for sowing. Make nursery bed and sow germinated seeds in that. After 25 days transplant seedlings. 2. Chemical based treatment – Fill a tub with 5 liter water and add 20 gms carbendazim and rest this mixture for half an hour. Add 1 gm stroptocycline in this mixture . Add 10 kgs of seeds in this mixture and rest for 24 hours. Make a cloth pouch or bag and place these treated seeds in it and tie it properly. Maintain moisture of bag by sprinking this mixture water on it when required When seeds got germinated ,they are ready for sowing. Make nursery bed and sow germinated seeds in that. After 25 days transplant seedlings.

Ordered and payed 2kg, but got only one packet of 950grm. Not big size but just small, also packed without any weight, date and any other details. Will not but, as never expected to face this with Dipankar’s shope. Bad, not recommended.
